European Commission Berlaymont
I was back in Mussels Country this weekend for my mum’s birthday.
Brussels isn’t only just about chocolates, fries and mussels, It is also where the headquarters of the European Union are.
My best friend is actually doing an internship at the European Commission at the moment, reason for which we went to meet her for lunch on that day. Funnily enough, it seems that after so many years of being away studying, a few of my former classmates from school have returned to Brussels to get some work experience from the European Institutions.
This picture was taken in front of the “Berlaymont”, which is the main building for the European Commission, where the President has his office.
