Obelisque du Chateau de la Hulpe
This second photo is from the gardens of the Chateau de la Hulpe.
The garden features this very strange obelisk, which is aligned with the center of the castle, about 500 meters away in the gardens. It has this strange ornament at the top, which looks surreal
It was a nice walk to get there, we didn’t quite realise the size of this obelisk! I couldn’t find anywhere why this was built. The only information on the web about it is its height – 36 meters. Quite impressive!
