Advertising HitchWhistler

Story

I’ve done it, created my first social platform. It’s called HitchWhistler, and it allows people from Vancouver & Whistler to share a trip to either destinations, whilst reducing their costs, might they be drivers or passengers.

The average bus trip up to Whistler costs at least $40 return. With HitchWhistler, people can get away with a $10 to $20 round trip up to the resort.

In just 10 days of activity, and very little marketing, I’ve already gathered 250 people on the site, and about a dozen of successful trips.

So what else could I have done sitting in a gondola in Whistler, but to advertise the website by placing business cards on the structure of the cabins. It’s been a fun weekend, and I hope that thanks to the website more people will be able to afford a trip to the mountains during this promising season!
