Blackcomb Glacier
This is a shot I took on our before-last trip to Whistler, at the top of Blackcomb mountain, just before coming down on the Blackcomb Glacier.
There’s a short hike up from the T-bar at the top, but once you get up there, the view is incredible! The lady featured here is my Danish skiing-addict partner-in-crime, who’s clearly not missing her homeland where mountains can be quite scarce
I made the girls come down the glacier through a traverse on the Eastern part of the bowl, in a quest for fresh powder, which failed miserably. Oh well, at least the view was nice from up there!
