Stanley Park

Story

Today was a sunny day in Vancouver, and since this doesn’t happen too often at this time of year, we thought we’d take full advantage of it and head over to Stanley Park, Vancouver’s famous natural city escape, at the edge of the peninsula.

We rented some bikes and strolled around for a few hours. One of the highlights of the cycling was passing through the forest and the huge cedar trees forming it. The only way to capture the largeness of these incredible specimens of nature was using the fisheye.

In this shot, slightly over exposed, you can see tell the scale of the tree when you look at us standing just right next to it. As the better weather comes around, there will surely be more of this and hopefully a need to invest in a bicycle for the summer days!
