The Salish Sea and Burrard Inlet
Drove up to Cypress Moutain this weekend (on the North Shore of Vancouver) to see the snow, and on the way up, there was this amazing view of the Georgia Straight, which is the main inlet for large ships coming into Vancouver Harbor, from all over the World.
The clouds in the background are really typical of the weather Vancouver gets – since it’s right next to the mountains, all the weather coming West from the Pacific tends to get stuck in Van, allowing for large amounts of precipitation, for the joys of snow fans! I can’t wait to get up here when the clouds are low and the city is covered in white haze.
Needless to say the view is truly ALL inspiring and I’m definitely bringing those of you who will visit up here.
