Vancouver Pride
It’s this time of the year when the Vancouver community celebrates its sexual diversity – Pride weekend!
Apparently one of the largest prides in North America, this year the skies were blue and temperatures high, to the joy of the many gays and lesbians coming from all over the country to celebrate their pride.
Downtown Vancouver was completely packed up, streets were closed for the parade and a population grew by thousands!
This shot is of the parade going through Pacific Street in the Westend. I love it because it shows the mountains at the back – reminder of what this place is also all about: not only is Vancouver a very progressive, open-minded and welcoming place, but it’s also one of the most beautiful cities in the World, set a the foot of the mountains and beside the water.
Get the jist of why people come here?

Si on mettait autant d’énergie à économiser l’énergie !!! si on s’unissait autant pour protéger l’environnement. Si on s’unissait autant pour accueillir les pauvres, les étrangers. Comme le monde serait différent et plus heureux.
