Whistler in January
It’s January and it’s meant to be the coldest month of the year – so I’ve gone up to Whistler with Sean, a CouchSurfer buddy, who flew in from Chicago.
It is indeed Winter, and it’s cold! But until today, the snow was slightly lacking in this resort famous for its heavy snowfalls.
Last night (and this morning) about 15cm of snow fell down on the mountain, with a great potential for powder riding (see next picture).
