Whistler’s Bobsleigh World Championships
This week in Whistler were help the Bobsleigh World Championships.
Since I’d come up for the weekend from Vancouver and my fellow couchsurfer hosts were attending this event, I though to myself: “When’s the next time I’ll have a chance to see a World Championship?”.
So after a full day (and the first day of the season for me) of riding, I decided to buy a ticket and go “back up the hill” as they say in Canadian english… The event was actually really worth the $10 ticket, and seeing a bobsleigh go past at 170km/h is not of the least overwhelming experiences I’ve had so far!
