City of Cologne
That’s it, after these 500 and a bit steps, we got to the top, with an impressive view of the city.
As Phil (my host in Köln) explained, Cologne was rebuilt without much planning after WW2, therefore there aren’t that many original features left to see.
Furthermore, the city was axed around transport, which explains for all the motorway bridges over the river. Cologne was and still is a hub for transport, whether it be rail or road.
