Cologne Cathedral

Story

Last weekend I drove to Cologne (Köln, in Deutsche!) in Germany, to visit my good friend Phil, who’s doing a PhD there.

As part of this beautiful day (and night, see next post!) we decided to climb to the top of the Cologne cathedral, featured on this photo.

Climbing to the top was a bit of a mission, with more than 500 steps of stairs, arranged in this circular fashion which makes you dizzy after the first 50!

Anyway, it was lots of fun and the view of the top was well worth the mere 3,5 Euros (I believe) paid for the visit (as a comparison we paid 6 Euros for the Waterloo mount visit in Brussels which was not even close as good as this!)
