Helmet Cam Baptism Week

Story

First Picture in a series of pics from my Powder to the People Ski Trip to Oberstdorf, organised by my good friend Phil.

Actually, he was the one who took this picture. For this trip I built my very own cheap helmet cam, which allowed me to film while going down the slopes. Pretty geeky, huh? But pretty awesome too!

This was on the second day of the ski touring we did last week. Ski touring involves climbing up a mountain on foot (or skis, or snowshoes), then going down hors-piste on the powder slopes. This was actually one of the best slopes we did, with very few traces from previous riders (or drivers, as our german tour guides liked to say!).
