The joys of back country riding
When you go ski touring, it inevitably refers to as “walking up the mountain”. Whilst skiers can go up with their skis, the race of snowboarders have to use ski shoes and carry their board on their backpacks.
This is precisely what I was doing (quite a lot) on that day, since the track our guide took turned out to be quite flat.
This shot was taken the first time I had to switch to ski shoes on that day, when I’m still full of energy and motivated. I must say I was in a different state at the end of the day. Beautiful shot though, courtesy of Phil…
