The Taj Mahal
Having woken up at dawn to view the monument under a morning light, we’re happy we’re finally here to witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World. I present you the Taj Mahal!
It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, in the year 1632. It took more than 20 years to complete and has been to this day been preserved astonishingly well, considering the way things can be done here in India.
One might think it’s just a touristy attraction, but actually, when seeing it with your own eyes, you start to realise how important this monument is and how much work it took to get it to this standard of beauty.
It is massive, and it’s one of those moments when you feel speechless, just admiring what’s in front of you and almost being overwhelmed by the sight of it.
I’m really happy we came to Agra, as it’s been a very beautiful city, holding many surprises, and full of culture.
And of course, this was probably one of the most beautiful and amazing things I’ve ever seen in my life!

Yeah, I visited India and never saw the Taj. Lousy tourist I am! Where’s the gringo, behind the camera?
