Cherai Beach Resort

We’ve made it safe and sound to the beach, after a long day of riding.

We’re staying at the Cherai Beach Resort, a beautiful hotel, at the edge of a lagoon and about 50 meters away from the Indian Ocean.

This is our hut, we’re renting out for the modest sum of 1500Rs a night (that’s about 20 quid!), and comes with its own little island, a bathroom with steps down to the water and a tree growing in the middle of our room.

It’s probably the most random yet most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in, and for a very decent price! On top of that the hotel managers and the staff are really friendly, and even manage to smuggle beers to our rooms for us! Great stuff!
