Indian Ocean
It’s been more than a year since I saw the Indian Ocean, and its big waves.
Finding such a beach was a great achievement, as it’s difficult in India to find a spot of sand which isn’t littered or full of tourists.
Since it’s monsoon at the moment, only brave people like Phil and I make it to such places at this time of year, and enjoy off season prices, and the joys of not having to share our holidays with dozens of other Western tourists! Of course the compromise is that there is always a risk to get stuck under a heavy monsoon shower, but so far we’ve overall been lucky and had good weather in our stay in Kerala.
Cross fingers for the rest of my stay in India.
