Dirt

Story

The shores of Mumbai are not the most pleasant sight, really.

Most of the ones that we’ve seen have looked like this. It is a common practice here in India to just chuck rubbish out on the street.

People don’t seem to be concerned about cleanliness in outside, public areas. On the other hand, their homes, may they be in slums or apartment buildings, are very clean, as most days they have a cleaning session.

It’s hard to believe that people can live in such dirt, as it’s not just that it looks bad, as in some places it truly smells horrible, at least to European nostrils!
