Monkeys on Elephanta
One of the other features of Elephanta Island is its monkeys. A sign after you walk off the boat warns you of their presence, but you don’t realise how many there are until you actually walk up the steps to get to the cave-temples. There are loads of them!
They were really not affected that much by human presence and happily played amongst themselves, just a few metres away from us. Cute on this is. I decided to call it Yves, aka “Petit Singe”, as a dedication to someone who will recognise himself.
