Note on Indian Culture
It’s very common here for men to hold hands, although homosexuality isn’t allowed by either Hinduism or Islam.
It’s difficult to tell what the meaning of men holding hands is, as some men seem to be doing it in couples, as if they had some sort of relationship.
I guess either way it’s a normal gesture here in India, and probably quite innocent.
