Durban surfing
Durban is one of the Surfing Capitals of the World. It also happens to be where my older sister Ely works and lives. For our first day in Durban, we went down to the South beach, where a surfing competition was happening. I took this shot from one of the guys who was surfing outside the competition (for fun) next to one of the piers on Durban beach. The waves weren’t amazing but I really like this shot. It looks like he’s about to fall but actually he carried on for another 5 seconds on this small wave before falling over. I hope I can catch a more wavy day soon and get some more pictures of surfers!
