Tala Giraffes

Story

Our second natural reserve in the trip, just half an hour away form my sister’s house. Tala is a private game reserve, which means you have to pay slightly more to get in. However, it is much smaller than Addo, which means you get a chance to see more animals in a shorter amount of time. We were very lucky this time to come across about a dozen of giraffes, amongst which these two babies. They were looking out in the distance, at nothing in particular, but their posture made them look like twins. They were actually very calm and distressed and not too bothered by our sudden appearance.

    Hey flo!

really love your website. the pictures you’ve been taking really rock and could create envy even in the most tranquil of minds for what youre seeing and experiencing. in my case i’m simply just envious cause i love taking good photos and some of yours are simply breathtaking.

in any case looks like youre having a hell of a time away from old albion checking out new stuff (though i didnt see you on an ostrich!). dont enjoy yourself it too much though, we’d really miss you in the northern hemisphere.

    peace, phil
