Transkei
We were travelling from the Addo National Park to Durban and stopped in a place called Coffea Bay in the Transkei, a region of South Africa with much history from the Apartheid, partly because it was home of former prisoner then President Nelson Mandela. I took this shot on the road there (road full of curves and potholes, mission!), it depicts the involvement of local people to campaign for their political party, at a time when the national elections are less than a week away. They would stop at the each village on this road, come out of the truck and demonstrate for the party. There were at least 30 people at the back of this truck and so keen to get their word out. Unbelievable!
