Bariloche Rafting
Today we went rafting in the Lake District of Badiloche, about 100km South of the city.
The scenery was absolutely amazing, with mountains still under snow in the background and a river colour approaching the turquoise.
It was very good fun, with rapids up to 3 (on a scale to 5, even though our guide told us there are a couple of rapids in Chile rated 6). They were definately the biggest rapids I´d be on a river!
This particular one was a Rapid Class III, with two massive white waves one after another. The picture was taken just before we all fell from the raft (except our guide) in the middle of the wave. It was a bit scary as the water was cold and the river with strong currents.
But in the end we were all speechless by the experience of rafting in Patagonia on a National Park river!
Video will follow soon. Credit to photospatagonia for the photos taken on that day!

Amazing! Much more impressive than the waves in Thailand!
