Puerto Natales, Mirador Dorothea
We´re back in Chile, after Argentina, and a bus ride of about 15 hours!
We made it to Puerto Natales, a little town by the sea, hub to go and visit the Torres Del Paine National Park, which we will head to tomorrow!
Since we´re going to be hiking for the next 4 days, we thought it would be a good idea as a warm up to go up to the mirador which overlooks the city here in Puerto Natales.
In true cheap fashion we hitched a ride to the bottom of the mountain, located about 10km from town.
There weren´t really many trails leading up to the summit so we made our own way there, which was slightly challenging as the slopes were pretty steep! Anyway, once up there, the effort was worth it as the view was beautiful across the city and the mountain range in the background.
Tomorrow… Torres del Paine!
