Lima Paragliding
Bye bye Chile! I flew off from Santiago today, on my way back to snowy uk (or so it seems!), with a stop in Peru, just long enough to go and check out Lima…
First impression, it is very different from Santiago… and people drive like mad! It seems Lima is city which is a lot poorer too! There are quite a few more run down cars and houses, including some shacks on the side of the road.
Anyway, since I only have 5 hours here (and my flight back is in 3 hours at the airport… Marrrrde!) I had just enough time to take a couple of pics and upload them in a cyber cafe.
Those who have been to Lima will recognize the paragliding. It is definately the feature of the beach here. It´s beautiful to look at and I must say I was tempted by taking a flight, but didn´t have enough time / money. Oh well, next time!
