Bangkok Grand Palace

I’m in Thailand! We got to Bangkok after two 6-hour flights and a stop in Abu Dhabi. We’re staying on Khao San Road (Those of you who have been to Thailand will recognize straight away!). The city is beautiful and it’s interesting to be a tourist in Asia, as everyone seems to be your friend – at least they try to rip you off as much as they can!

This shot is from the Grand Palace grounds, which we visited under intense heat and humidity! Very clingy, but very nice! There are temples everywhere, it’s quite impressive. For anyone who goes to Bangkok and wants to visit this Palace, please be aware that it is OPEN EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK FROM 9-6, regardless of what people will tell you on the street- they are liars and are just after your money!
