Brighton Marathon 2010
Yesterday was the Brighton Marathon, very first full Marathon in the city!
It was just down the road from my house so got up this morning and with my housemate Alan went down the beach to cheer up the runners.
They were very lucky with the weather, it’s been an absolute beautiful day today, best conditions to run, not too hot, not too cold!
The winner of this inaugural marathon was a guy from Mongolia called Ser-od Ba-otochir, who ran in just 2:19:05, which is pretty impressive. What’s also pretty impressive is the fact he was at the Beijing Olympics and ran even faster!
It’s not him on this picture though. I just liked this shot because the person featured on it is truly stereotypically Brightonian
