Fiat Punto dies on the A23
I was driving my flatmate’s car to London today when after 8.9 miles it broke down on the A23, motorway going North.
I did everything I could not to call the recovery but unfortunately the car wouldn’t start again. Fortunately, with Churchill insurance, under 10 miles, the recovery is free, so I was quite happy when the guy loaded his GPS and found out I was just under 10 miles from home.
The recovery driver was a very nice chap, who’d been travelling around the World when he was working for the Royal Navy. We had a nice chat, he dropped me off, and that was that. I now have to go and get the car fixed, which hopefully won’t be too costly. Story to be followed…
