The New Forest
This weekend is the May bank holiday weekend in the UK, and I’ve got 3 visitors coming to Brighton.
I’ve therefore decided to rent a car and take them around exploring the South Coast. First destination is the New Forest, a National Park near Southampton, in Hampshire, between Southampton and Bournemouth.
It is a “truly inspiring” area, with beautiful forest and marshland. It looks quite different from the traditional coastal areas of Southern England.
You can drive your car around the National Park and stop in various places, to take walks and explore the backcountry.
This picture was taken after it had just rained, therefore he forest was still pretty wet, by all the while displaying some beautiful green colours.
