Storm, Phase 2
After crossing Lake Powell, I quickly went to the Visitor Center to ask about the best route to Capitol Reef National Park.
The Park Ranger kindly told me there was a beautiful shortcut scenic way across the Park, which would take me through Capitol Reef and into Escalante National Park. It’s probably Chinese to all of you but if you look at a map it all makes sense.
She did warn me though that flash floods are frequent and I should be careful with the incoming storms.
Well, was I in for a surprise!
