Deception Pass

As we were driving back from the Olympic Peninsula, we took a boat back to the mainland and went through the Deception Pass.

The landscape on those small islands just North East of Seattle is very different from what we saw crossing Route 101 on the Pacific Coast. It’s much flatter and there is a lot less vegetation.

This shot is taken from the bridge over Deception pass, on our way to Vancouver from Coupeville. We were lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunset over the water, offering a nice eye candy just before braving the last few hours of driving back to Vancouver.
