Parents at the Needle
The Devellennes roots have flown over to the West Coast for a belated visit of their son #3, namely, me 
As they’re flying in to Seattle (they got flights for less than 500 Euros return from Paris, what?) I drove down to pick them up from the airport. After a long night of acting like an old man and sleeping 3 hours, I was on the road again to reach the Land of the Free (A-ME-RI-CA).
It’s kind of surreal having family here as I’ve been on my own for the last 6 months, and I’m going to be able to give them an insight on what Vancouver and surroundings is like, and find out what their reaction is to this new life I’m trying to create for myself.
Today was kind of intense, with a jetlag (for them) of 9 hours, and a true will to not fall asleep before 8pm. At (around) 8:01 my dad was in the motel room snoring away already, after having closed his eyes for 5 seconds. This might turn out to be one loud epic night… (can you tell i’m writing this from the same hotel room where he’s snoring?) Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
